I am an mobile app developer based in Brighton currently focusing on iPhone development, with 10 years experience developing robust commercial systems in Java, C# and C++. As of August 2010 I have set up as a freelancer under my company Radical Robot Ltd. I specialise in mobile app development but also freelance as a Java and C# developer too.
In my spare time I dabble as a robotics hobbyists, building small simple robots to entertain me and my partner by scaring or playing with our cat. As part of this hobby I set up the Hackspace here in Brighton, BuildBrighton.

It’s going to be big scale, involving Mobile, Local, Social, Gamelike, Realtime, Group Messaging, Community, Collaboration, and Open Data.
They’re working on some fun challenges and with cutting edge frameworks. Their core software is a combination of realtime responsiveness, very large data sets and interesting data mining opportunities.
They were founded by one of the original members of Skype and their current CTO was an original member of Betfair. They have a number of people behind the company and have some market leaders advising them on their product, one of which is Anthony Rose who led the iPlayer development.
